Process
After meeting Val, business owner, and learning about her and her business, we visited the store to observe shoppers and ask sales assistants about their current customers. We also conducted competitive research of other fashion boutiques in the area as well as outside of Cleveland and completed an audit of the current website and social media channels. After learning that Val would be closing her store, we focused our marketing strategy on generating sales via her website through a redesign of the online experience that would appeal to her target audience and a streamlined social media strategy that would be easy to implement and manage.
Result
Our strategy would enable Val to grow her online customer base by converting her current in-store shoppers as well as appealing to her target audience beyond Cleveland through the identification of clear marketing goals, tactics and metrics.
